rich natural reserve. You’ll have the chance to observe the wonderful
underwater flora and fauna, and even catch sight of exotic species.
Visit underwater wrecks around Madeira and Porto Santo in relatively shallow
water. The island’s many natural marine reserves are a perfect place
to dive, with abundant marine life (you can see great Barracudas, Mantas,
Morays, Rays, Stingrays, Groupers, Parrot fish, Mackerel and many other
fish).
Clean water and a wide range of underwater landscape have made diving
in Madeira a rapidly growing sport. Caves, ridges and volcanic reef can
be explored in the day or during the night.
Due to the Gulf Stream influence Madeira is blessed with warm water temperatures
year round.
